Web Services & API

RadiantGrid Technologies offers an HTTP‐based web services API that covers the query and management of assets, as well as the process of generating asset renditions from existing assets.  In addition, the web services API covers the query and management of customers and users, workflow targets, profiles, and settings, and workflow tasks and jobs.

Entrypoints are provided for the asset management, user management and workflow management web services.

• Via the asset management web service, a web services client can query for existing assets, get or set metadata on assets, and download asset files.
• Via the user management web service, a web services client can login to a user account, and obtain the security context for further web service operations.
• Via the workflow management web service, a web services client can query a task for current status.

In addition to these HTTP web services, RadiantGrid supports an XML batch request API, which can automate the process of generating asset renditions from existing assets. All functionality that is available through the RadiantGrid user interface is available via this XML batch request API.
